Get answers to common questions about Touch-up and Haircut.
Most clients book every 4–8 weeks depending on hair growth, color contrast, and desired maintenance. Darker shades or strong contrasts need more frequent touch-ups, while softer blends can stretch appointments. Your stylist will recommend a timeline based on your hair and goals.
A touch-up targets roots and blends regrowth; it won't dramatically alter base color unless requested. If you want a noticeable color change, discuss options like glosses or full color services. Your stylist can advise on outcomes and any additional steps needed.
Appointments typically last 90–120 minutes depending on root complexity, hair length, and chosen cut. Shorter touch-ups with simple trims may finish faster, while precision cuts or extensive blending can extend time. Your stylist will give a more accurate estimate during booking.
If you have a history of allergies or it's been over six months since your last color, a patch test is recommended. Patch tests help ensure safe reactions to color formulas; Salon Millennium will advise and schedule one when necessary to protect your health.
Minor shade adjustments—such as toning or glossing—are often possible during the appointment. Major color changes may require a dedicated color service or extra time. Always consult your stylist beforehand so they can plan formulas and timing for safe, flattering results.
Use color-safe, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioners, and avoid washing hair for 48 hours to let the color set. Protect from heat and sun with products or SPF sprays, and follow salon-recommended intervals for touch-ups and trims to maintain color and shape.
